To have a changed share of taste sometimes everone needs some variations in the GUI outlooks of his/her running OS. Themes available for gnome desktop system can serve this purpose very well. Do the followings accordingly:

1. Click on System > Preferences > Appearence. There is theme manager in there where all the themes are stored and changed.

2. Download themes,  at http://www.gnome-look.org.

3. Get the tar.gz files for the themes. simply drag and drop them into the theme selector window and they get automatically installed.

have fun 🙂
